TAG NZ Open Meeting System Protocols & Philosophy
Includes:
Presenter/Trainer Protocols & Guidelines
Updated: 23 October 2007
In considering becoming a TAG NZ front of the room Open Meeting Presenter and/or Trainer, please read carefully the following prerequisites of this critical role within our System.
Philosophy
Passion, Leading By Example, and Production, is what every TAG NZ front of the room Presenter/Trainer must have. To qualify as a front of the room TAG NZ Open Meeting Presenter/Trainer, there are clear and specific expectations and pre-requisites that must be met - simply earning a certain PIN does not automatically qualify a Rep for this role within our System. As with everything, there is a process in place, and this process is monitored closely by all TAG NZ Team Coordinators & Regional Vice Presidents.
The Bigger Picture
TAG NZ has an Open Meeting Philosophy & Environment. Meaning, our Open Meetings are advertised on a Public Website and are Open to all ACN Reps throughout the country, and indeed, the world. Meaning, we are 'on show' - and we take that resposibility seriously.
Our intent at our Open Meetings is not so much in solely building 'our' personal businesses, but in providing a professional exposure of this opportunity for all present. By doing this correctly, we are also assisting the ACN Co-Founders with their Global Vision of expansion/Customer Acquisition - and keeping the ACN opportunity at the forefront as the NO.1 business opportunity in the world for those who are seeking the best there is!
Becoming a TAG NZ System Open Presenter/Trainer is an earned responsibility - and not a right.
Mindset
We are not in the Convincing, Persuading, Negatively Manipulating, Coerce, or Hard Selling Busins!
Our Role is not to "Get" people into our business - but rather to go through the 'numbers' of exposures to find the people who have a sincere desire to move forward ... now. These people have a current problem they want to solve (now), a need they want to satisfy (now), and/or an objective they want to reach (now).
We are also not in the business of 'getting' people to do what they don't want to do - but rather, learning the skills of assisting people through the fears of doing what they really want to do!
The first mindset in building an effective distribution network of people come back to becoming proficient at the 'sifting & sorting' process.
This whole process begins with us as Leading By Example in everything we do in the business. Meaning, everything we do and say, our leaders will do and say. Hence ...
As we (as Leaders) Present & Train, we are teaching our upcoming leaders how we Present & Train within the TAG NZ System.
This includes providing a sharp, professional, on time, on System Open Meeting.
To build as productively and effectively as possible, we follow a solidly proven building template we call 'The System'.
By following this proven building System, we learn how to create as large a Customer base as we decide! TAG NZ Leaders do not deviate from this System. For if we deviate, we are giving our upcoming leaders permission to also deviate. Before long - momentum will drop. As momentum drops, production drops. As production drops, income drops. When income drops ...
Now and again, there may be small changes made to the 'fringes' of System due to local beliefs and environments, but very seldomly do we ever alter the 'Core' components of the System.
Why? ... Simple, It works!
BASIC Pre-Requisites, Protocols and Guidelines for all TAG NZ Open Meeting TAG NZ Presenters/Trainers include:
Beginning a new TAG NZ Open Meeting in a New Area
As activity and production increases in areas where there is no TAG NZ Open Meeting - and, a TAG NZ Leader wishes to begin a TAG NZ Open in that area, we strongly encourage this. However, the above process and protocols must be adhered to (if, indeed, the intention is to have the meeting as an TAG NZ Open Meeting, and hence published on our public TAG NZ Events Website).
Please contact your upline TAG NZ TC for more information.
The Process for Registering a TAG NZ Open Meeting on the TAG NZ Website Once Approved.
Please be aware of how 'critical' it is that meeting information is emailed in On Time Every 2 Weeks! Literally thousands of people throughout NZ and overseas check the TAG NZ site each week for our meeting schedules.

When to Begin, and End, a TAG NZ Open Meeting
Meeting "Impact Statement"
The success of an Open Meeting wraps around the how well new people are trained and understand the purpose of an Impact Statement Prior to getting up in the front of the room
The purpose of the Impact Statement:to provide an example that a potential rep/customer may personally identify with, and therefore be a positive influence on that person's decision to enrol themselves as a new Rep or Customer.
Proper training by the upline leader must be provided for a new achiever on how to do an Impact Statement prior to the event beginning. The whole meeting can be lost by one new untrained new ETT or ETL in this area. This is So Important!
Key points of a Successful Impact Statement include:
Note: The front of the room at an TAG NZ Open Meeting is never, ever to be used as a platform for sharing personal Spiritual, Political, or Culteral Leanings/beliefs! This is totally inappropriate, and disrespectful to all those in the room who may have different beliefs. You, or others, have people in the room that have professional guests present who are looking at ACN from their professional perspective. ACN is a 'business'. TAG NZ is a support mechanism for that business - we must work together as a professional leadership team in keeping this 'business' opportunity OPEN to ALL people - regardless of Religious / Spiritual / Cultural beliefs, colour, or creed.
All that is needed is a 15-30 Second Statement providing:
15-30 seconds > off!
Example of an effective Impact Statement:
"Hello, my name is Peter Cooke. I am married with 3 children and one beautiful wife! I work fulltime as a successful Graphic Designer here in the Wellington. I was first introduced to ACN through a work colleague. The reason I'm building an ACN business is to spend more quality time with my kids who, right now, don't see enough of their dad. My goal is TC by April 16th 2007 at 8pm ... .. and RVP April 16th 2008 at 8pm ... Thank you! ;-)
'Cultural Expressions' within TAG NZ Open Business Meetings Philosophy, Guidelines & Protocols:
The protocol and stance of TAG NZ on any 'Cultural Expressions' within a TAG NZ Open Meeting is as follows:
Philosophy
ACN is a 'Customer Acquisition' Company. Our sole focus is on the production of New Customers, and enrolling like-minded people/reps to do the same. Our goal is always to do this with alacrity and integrity. TAG NZ was founded for the sole purpose of supporting and training any rep wishing to follow it's System.
TAG NZ has 4 primary objectives:
1. To assist new ACN Reps in how to Acquire New Customers.
2. To assist reps in how to enrol new Reps for the sole purpose of increasing Customer base for ACN.
3. To provide a simple, teachable, and easily duplicated 'track to run on' or System.
4. To provide various Self Development programmes and Leadership Development programmes for those who qualify and are ready for this.
We see our role as a professional business support mechanism for the serious rep who has a genuine objective of building a solid business for themselves and family. Again, our focus is 'business'.
A TAG NZ Open Meeting is a Business Meeting put on for the benefit of all peoples regardless of nationality, Cultures, Spiritual leanings, Politics, and personal beliefs. An TAG NZ Open Meeting is not to be used by any rep as a platform for Spiritual, Political, Cultural, or Religious Expression. Should any person, or group of people, want to show their gratitude, respect, edification, and/or appreciation for their leadership by way of a "planned" Cultural Expression within an TAG NZ Open Meeting, they are more than welcome to send an 'email request' to TAG NZ no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled event requesting this. (see request form below).
It is the responsibility of all TAG NZ TC & Above Leaders to immediately stop any person/peoples responsible for "spontaneous" and "unplanned" cultural expressions at all TAG NZ Open Meeting.
This protocol will be reviewed periodically within our TAG NZ Open 'business' meeting environment - if it proves not to work, or it is judged as being inappropriate by too many complaints to TAG NZ, a decision will be made immediately to cease any further 'cultural expressions' within TAG NZ Open Meetings.
Any changes on this protocol will be at the sole discretion of TAG NZ RVPs & Above with notification of the same being sent out through the TAG NZ TC & Above Mailing list.
